Unfiltered AI images, with a filter you control
Many AI image tools hide results behind filters you can't see or change. Thague shows you the filter and lets you decide. It's on by default; members aged 18 or over can switch it off in one tap, and back on whenever they like. Nothing else about the Studio changes: the same 80+ image models, 58 video models and 8 editing tools.

What the output filter does
When the filter is on, Thague checks each finished image and video in your own browser and hides results it flags, with a notice in their place. The check uses a small model that's downloaded to your browser, so your results aren't sent anywhere else to be checked. With the filter off, every result is shown as it comes back from the model.
Turning it off, and back on
Use the Output filter switch at the top of the Studio, or Settings › Preferences. The first time, Thague asks you to confirm that you're 18 or over. The setting is yours: switch it back on at any time, for example before sharing your screen.
What "unfiltered" doesn't mean
Turning the filter off changes what Thague hides from you; it doesn't remove the law or the Terms. Some models have their own rules and may decline a prompt; when a run doesn't go through, its credits come back. Content that sexualises minors, intimate images of real people without consent and deceptive deepfakes are never allowed, and accounts that create them are closed and reported where the law requires.
How to use it in Thague
- Create an account and choose a plan (Starter, Pro or Pro Plus).
- Open the Studio and find the Output filter switch at the top.
- Switch it off and confirm that you're 18 or over.
- Generate as usual; switch the filter back on whenever you like.
A prompt strict tools often refuse
Baroque oil painting of a battle at sea: burning galleons, sailors clashing on deck, cannon smoke, dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, visible brushwork.
What to check before sharing
The filter runs in your browser and is best-effort: it can miss things or hide something harmless. It applies to what you see in Thague, not to a downloaded file or a link you share. Only upload images you have the rights and consent to use.
Questions
Is Thague an unfiltered AI image generator?
It can be. The output filter is on by default, and members aged 18 or over can turn it off in the Studio or in Settings › Preferences. Models can still decline some prompts, and the Terms of Service apply either way.
Is there an AI with no filter for video too?
Yes. The same switch covers images and video: with the filter off, video results are shown as they come back. See the unfiltered AI video generator guide for the 58 video models.
Do I need to be 18 to turn the filter off?
Yes. Thague asks you to confirm you're 18 or over before the filter goes off, and it stays on for anyone who doesn't.
Does turning the filter off cost more?
No. Credits cost the same either way: what the model charges, shown before each run, and refunded if a run fails.
