Privacy & payments
A new platform. A clear commitment to your privacy.
Thague is a new AI image and video platform, and we are committed to protecting your privacy from the start. Trust should come from clear information—not the age of a brand. Here is how we handle creative history, card payments and crypto payments, and where the limits are.

Your creative history stays in your browser
Your Library, prompt history and result links are kept locally in the browser you use. Thague does not store your prompts in its own generation history database. Temporary server job records hold status, credit usage and result links and are removed approximately one day after a job finishes. Download work you want to keep; browser history is not a permanent backup.
Generating an image or video still requires sending the prompt, settings and any uploads to third-party generation services. Those services can retain inputs and outputs, and their retention is outside Thague's control. We also need account information and payment records to run the service. Avoid uploading confidential material without first reviewing our Privacy Policy.
Card payments through a Merchant of Record
Thague uses Polar as its Merchant of Record for card purchases, with card processing through Stripe. Polar handles the checkout, payment processing, invoicing and applicable sales tax or VAT under its buyer terms. Thague does not receive or store your full card details.
We receive the information needed to manage your plan and credits, such as your email, plan and payment status. Card subscriptions renew until cancelled. A Merchant of Record provides a defined billing relationship; it is not an endorsement of Thague or a guarantee of every purchase outcome. See our Terms of Service and Refund Policy before buying.
Crypto payments: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin
Thague also supports Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) for eligible credit packs and prepaid Pro or Pro Plus months, when offered in the payment flow. Prepaid months are paid up front and do not renew automatically. Supported choices depend on your account and the payment options currently enabled.
Crypto payments go directly to Thague. Polar is not the Merchant of Record for these purchases; Thague is responsible as the seller. Follow the amount, network and expiry displayed at checkout and allow time for blockchain confirmations. Network fees may apply. Blockchain transactions are public—not a guarantee of anonymity—and payment errors or eligible refunds require support review rather than an automatic card-style reversal.
A commitment you can ask us about
Being new means we need to earn your trust. We aim to be clear about what the Studio does, what each run costs and which services handle your data or payment. No online platform can promise perfect security. If you have a privacy question or need help with a payment, contact support@thague.com.
This page is a plain-language overview, not a replacement for the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service or Refund Policy. Those policies and the checkout terms govern the relevant purchase.
Questions
Is Thague committed to privacy even though it is a new platform?
Yes. Thague is a new AI image and video platform committed to protecting your privacy and explaining how data is handled. Your generation history is kept in your browser, while account, billing and temporary job records are needed to run the service. Generation inputs are still sent to third-party services; this is not a promise of complete anonymity or zero data retention.
Who handles Thague's card payments?
Card payments use Polar as Merchant of Record, with card processing through Stripe. Polar handles checkout, invoicing and applicable sales tax or VAT. Thague receives the information needed to administer your plan and credits, not full card details.
Can I pay for Thague with cryptocurrency?
Thague supports Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin for eligible credit packs and prepaid Pro or Pro Plus months, when offered at checkout. Crypto payments go directly to Thague and are not handled by Polar as Merchant of Record. Prepaid months do not renew automatically.
Are crypto payments anonymous or reversible?
No anonymity guarantee is made. Blockchain transactions are publicly visible and can be linked to wallets and purchase records. Transactions cannot normally be reversed; payment mistakes and eligible refunds need support review. Follow the exact checkout amount, network and quote expiry.
