Image to video, with fewer refusals
Image to video turns a still into a moving shot: you give the start frame, the model adds the motion. It's great for fantasy art, concept frames and product shots, but strict apps often refuse ordinary images, like a knight in battle or a dark fantasy scene. In Thague you can make the still with 80+ image models, refine it with 8 tools, then animate it with Kling, Veo, Seedance, Hailuo, PixVerse, Vidu, Wan and more.

Make the start frame, then animate it
The best image-to-video results start from a strong still. Make one in the Image tab, fix details in Edit (expand the frame, change the angle, remove the background), then open Video, add it as the start image and describe only the motion: what moves, how the camera moves, how fast.
If a model says no
Models apply their own rules, and some check the start image as well as the prompt. A declined run's credits come back, so you can try another model. Thague's own content filter is on by default; members aged 18 or over can adjust it in Settings › Preferences.
Real people need their consent
Only animate a photo of a real person with their consent, never into sexual or intimate content, and never to deceive anyone. Upload only images you made or have the rights and the subject's permission to use. Breaking this closes the account and is reported where the law requires.
How to use it in Thague
- Make or upload a start image you have the rights to.
- Open Video and choose an image-to-video model.
- Add the image and describe the motion.
- Check the cost and generate; try another model if one declines.

What to check before sharing
Models may decline some images or prompts; those runs are refunded. The content filter is best-effort and applies only inside Thague. AI motion can change faces and details, so check results before sharing.
Questions
Is there an unfiltered image to video AI?
Thague's own content filter can be adjusted by members aged 18 or over, for image to video and everything else. The models' own rules and Thague's content rules still apply, so some images or prompts may be declined, and those runs are refunded.
Which models do image to video?
Most of the 58 video models, including Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, Hailuo 2.3, PixVerse v6, Vidu Q3, Luma Ray 3.2 and Wan.
Can I animate a photo of someone else?
Only with their consent, and never into sexual or intimate content or to mislead people. That rule applies whatever the filter setting.
